Saturday, Nov 20
 
Depart North America for your flights to Cape Town, South Africa. Fly via Europe, or directly via the JFK, Washington or Atlanta gateways.
Sunday, Nov 21
 
Upon arrival in Cape Town, you’ll travel by luxury van or private car to your world class boutique hotel. Unpack, relax and join the other Savvy Navigator travelers at a private welcome reception hosted by the owner.
Monday, Nov 22
 
Guided scenic drive through the city of Cape Town, with visits to Table Mountain, District 6, Robben Island, long-time home to Nelson Mandela, led by erstwhile inmates of the prison. After a sundowner cocktail atop Table Mountain, the group gourmet dinner is hosted by leading South African playwright, composer, and raconteur, Guy Willoughby.
Tuesday, Nov 23
 
An excursion to the Cape of Good Hope, where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic. Stops include the Cape Point Nature Reserve, Chapman’s Peak, Chacma Baboons and a fishing village. After a surprise lunch, return to Cape Town in time for dinner on your own in the city or Camps Bay.

Your free day in Cape Town! Spend the morning at the Old Biscuit Mill Food Market, and the afternoon either shopping at the V&A Waterfront or relaxing on the Clifton beaches.Are you up for an open water dive in a shark cage? Dinner tonight features a surprise guest, and later, explore the gay nightlife with local Capetonians.
Thursday, Nov 25
 
Free morning in Cape Town to further explore on your own.  In the afternoon, depart Cape Town for Kersefontein, a historical farm up the West Coast. Enjoy a wild boar “South African Thanksgiving” dinner and wine tasting, hosted by local hunter, personality, chef, and gentleman farmer, Julian Melck.
Friday, Nov 26
 
Leisurely breakfast followed by a drive into the winelands with a mezze lunch en-route at Savvy Navigator’s favorite restaurant in the town of Paarl. Arrive in Franschhoek mid-afternoon and check into the 5-star hotel, Le Quartier Français. For dinner choose from among numerous award-winning restaurants within walking distance.

Spend the day wine tasting at award-winning estates with al fresco lunch in the vineyards. Local winemakers offer their personal stories in the trade, and expert tips on judging the vintages.In the evening, savor an eight-course tasting dinner in the Le Quartier Français Tasting Rooms.
Sunday, Nov 28
 
More wine tasting at premium estates with a light lunch in the vineyards. Farewell dinner tonight is hosted by a local winemaker!

Safari! Travel by private air charter to the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, adjacent to Kruger National Park. You’ll spend for four nights at the Londolozi Varty Camp – private accommodations in the bush that take luxury to a whole new level.

Enjoy sunrise game drives with a professional ranger in open game vehicles. Spend the afternoon relaxing by our private pool or on a bush walk, followed by evening game drives (of course with sundowner cocktails in the bush). Enjoy fabulous private dinners in our camp, around the Boma bonfire, or in the bush under the African stars.

Fly on our private charter from the Londolozi airstrip back to international departures from Johannesburg, with arrival back in the USA on Thursday, December 2.
